Dear all,
I recently attended a workshop on Rural Development in Southern Africa, organised by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Southern Africa. It's focus was on how transformation of agricultural production can lead to increased food security. Attention was given to the current status of small scale local farmers and how they can contribute to food security. The role of supermarkets in this process was also highlighted.
