New York Street Artists

Article Content:

This link and accompanying videos are about ARTIST andRobert Lederman in NY City. ARTIST is an acronym for a street artist organization in NYC.

The 21 new videos include ARTIST protests, artist arrests, City officials including Giuliani discussing street artist rights, SoHo Alliance members describing their plan to limit artists to a few special areas with certification and a profile of the poet whose summons led to the written matter exemption being created in 1982.

If you were around in the early years 1993-1997 when artists arrests were a daily occurrence or are a newcomer to the NYC street artist community, you will enjoy and learn a lot from these videos.
